OMG this one caused my a lot of stress....firstly I had some trouble with the paypal payment little things I didnt notice, if I had I wouldnt have found this stressful.
I still dont have the full concept of this website, so off I go to watch the videos to explain more....

Ok so after watching the videos tutorials on the Mahara site and a little bit of my own investigation, the site has become more user friendly to myself.
ReplyDeleteYou are able to start and join groups - which would be great for group assignments as all member of a particular group can join on the website and add comments to eachother. (hmm wonder where i got that idea from).
There is a blogging tool available - this would be good for students to blog their journeys on to do with the group tasks and or any other learning journeys they are undertaking.
Hmmm however this website still seems to cause me stress as it now wont let me log back in.....argh

ReplyDeleteI also found, not so much the functionality; rather, the concept and application of the tool to be a little confusing at first. Like you, I also put extra effort into additional research and viewed other tutorials before coming to grips with the functionality. I can't wait to see how the tasks development finally takes shape and what the outcomes are. Finally, than you for setting up the group discussion area for "The Bermuda Triangle". I have subscribed to this forum.
